디스코라운드는 에버랜드에 있었던 어트랙션들 중 하나이다.

2. 특징

락스빌로 가는 언덕 길에 위치해 있었던 회전형 어트랙션. 이름에서와 같이 디스코장을 연상케 하는 원형 승물 내부에는 허리케인처럼 빙 두른 의자들이 자리잡고 있었으며, 운행이 시작되면 승물이 빠르게 회전하면서 상당한 원심력이 작용함과 동시에 의자가 파도타기하듯 위아래로 왔다갔다 튀어오르기를 반복하는 나름 독특한 방식의 재미와 스릴을 선사해준 어트랙션이다.

개장 초창기부터 2000년대 초반쯤까지 디스코라운드는 이러한 재미와 분위기를 원하는 이용객들이 많아서 절찬리에 운행되곤 했으나, 2000년대 중반에 접어들면서 젯트열차가 철거된 뒤 혼자 외딴 곳에 위치하게 되고, 주위에 더블 락스핀을 비롯한 새로운 어트랙션들이 차례대로 개장하기 시작하면서 디스코라운드는 이용객들이 점차 줄어드는 추세를 보이기 시작하였다. 뿐만 아니라 개장 직후부터 단 한 차례도 중단하지 않고 장기간 동안 운행돼오던 탓에 기계 노후화로 인한 여러 문제까지 겹치게 되고, 결국 디스코라운드는 2007년경에 철거되고 그 부지는 화단으로만 남게 되었다.

3. 여담

의자가 빠른 속도로 회전하는 동시에 상하로 왔다갔다 해서 상당히 어지러운 탓에 탑승 후 구토를 한 승객들이 많았다고 한다.

밀폐된 공간이다 보니 기상 악화 시에도 문제없이 즐길 수 있는 어트랙션 중 하나였을 것으로 보인다.

동년에 철거된 크레이지 리모도 초창기에는 꽤나 큰 규모로 관람객들의 눈길을 사로잡으며 운행돼오다 새로운 어트랙션들의 등장으로 외면을 받아 은퇴하는 등 디스코라운드와 비슷한 경로를 타고 철거되었다.

당시 이용 가능 키 제한은 120cm였다.
