JEDEC는 전 세계 대부분의 디바이스, 어셈블리, 시스템 및 테스트 기업의 주요 기술 전문가들로 구성된 글로벌 회원사를 보유한 개방형 표준 제정 기구로서, 가치 있는 표준을 발표할 수 있는 역량을 갖추고 있습니다.

2. 히스토리

전 세계 반도체 제조사(삼성, SK하이닉스, 인텔, 마이크론 등)들이 모여서 "JEDEC의 개방형 표준 개발에 참여하면 기업은 시간과 비용을 절약할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 업계 로드맵에 대한 심층적인 통찰력을 얻고 잘못된 방향으로 투자하는 것을 방지할 수 있습니다."[가][3]라고 약속하는 표준화 단체이다.
