도어즈의 4번째 스튜디오 음반.2. 상세
이 앨범을 녹음할 무렵 짐 모리슨은 거의 알코올 중독 환자가 되었고, 노래를 부르는 것보다는 시를 쓰는 것에 더 흥미를 느끼기 시작하여 녹음을 소홀히 하였다. 그래서 4집은 로비 크리거가 쓴 소년 같은 가사가 주를 이룬다.4집에 대한 평가는 도어즈다운 패기가 없어서 실망스럽다는 반응이었으나, 도어즈의 4번째 Top 10 앨범이 되었고, 특히 <Touch Me>가 큰 히트를 쳤다.

- 1집부터 3집까지는 모두 공동 크레딧으로 'The Doors'라 표기하였지만, 4집부터는 각자 멤버의 이름을 크레딧에 올렸다. 그래서 실질적으로 크레딧에 올라간 멤버는 작사, 작곡에 참여하는 짐 모리슨과 로비 크리거밖에 없었다.
