1. 개요
TinyTAN inspired by BTS
타이니탄은 방탄소년단 멤버들을 모티브로 했으며 제 2의 자아가 발현해 캐릭터가 됐다는 콘셉트이다.빅히트의 지식재산권 사업을 담당하는 빅히트 IP에서 모든 역량을 총 동원해 제작했고, 2019년 10월 방탄소년단의 IDOL 퍼포먼스를 펼치는 트레일러 영상을 통해 선공개 되었으며 2020년 8월 8일에 정식 론칭했다.#
'매직 도어(Magic Door)'를 통해 현실 세계를 넘나드는 세계관을 갖는다. 타이니탄에는 방탄소년단 멤버들의 특징 뿐 아니라 음악과 퍼포먼스로 전해 온 선한 영향력, 공감 및 치유의 메시지까지 그대로 투영돼 다양한 콘텐츠로 공개될 것이며 캐릭터 상품, 미디어 콘텐츠, 라이선스 계약 등을 통해 다양한 형태로 확장 할 예정이다.
현재 공식 계정은 트위터밖에 없으며 유튜브 영상은 BANGTANTV 채널에 같이 올라온다.

- 방탄소년단의 전세계적인 인기로 인한 영향력과 파급력이 상당하지만 천정부지로 치솟는 몸값 때문에 광고나 프로모션을 직접 계약하기에는 조금 부담스러운 반면 방탄소년단 지식재산권을 활용해서 만든 타이니탄과 계약하여 엄청난 가성비로 매출 증가를 기대하는 기업들이 늘어나면서 지속적으로 타이니탄 관련 사업이 확장되고 있다. 다만 일반적으로 초상권이 걸려 있는 멤버들의 사진이나 영상이 있는 경우는 멤버들에게 더 많은 금액으로 계약이 되고 초상권이 없는 파생상품인 경우(BT21, 타이니탄) 일부 로열티만 받는 계약으로 알려져있다.
