1. 소개
페르소나 3의 오프닝. 작사는 코모리 시게오(小森茂生)와 코모리 요시히로(小森啓裕), 작곡 및 편집은 메구로 쇼지가 맡았으며, 노래는 카와무라 유미(川村ゆみ)가 불렀다.제목의 뜻은 "공포를 불태워라". 이는 페르소나를 소환하는데 필요한 각오를 뜻한다. 오프닝 영상에는 메멘토 모리라는 문구가 버전을 달리 해 가면서(네가 필멸자임을 잊지 마라 등) 주구장창 흐르는데, 이는 이야기의 결말을 암시한다.[1] 최종 보스전에서 Last Battle 버전이 흐르는데, 보스전의 분위기에 맞물려 플레이어까지도 숙연해진다.
초기에 발매된 OST 트랙 목록에 오타가 있었는데 쓰여져 있는 스펠링이 Burn my Bread - Last Battle -. 마지막 보스와의 싸움에서 흐르는 진지한 분위기의 곡이 오타로 인해 Dread가 Bread가 되어버린 것. 직역하자면 "내 빵을 태울거야"가 되는 것이다(...). 그런데 실제로 들어보면 D와 B의 발음이 확실하게 구분이 갈 정도는 아닌 미묘한 수준이라 Bread가 맞는 발음인 줄 알고 있었던 사람들도 있었던 모양이다. 물론 오타로 인한 것이라 나중에 나온 OST나 곡의 제목이 나올 땐 제대로 Dread로 수정이 되어 나왔다. 그러나 이미 때는 늦어서 Bread로 제목을 검색하면 이걸 소재로 삼은 그림이나 밈을 볼 수 있다.[2]
페르소나 3 포터블에서는 시작 화면에서 가만히 있으면 재생된다. 페르소나 4 the ANIMATION 15화에서 오프닝으로 등장하기도 했다.
2. 리믹스
Burn My Dread -Last Battle- 버전
진 최종보스전에서 주인공이 닉스와 1:1로 싸울 때 사용된 곡. 랩은 Lotus Juice가 담당했다.
기억력이 좋은 사람은 눈치챘겠지만, 실은 주인공이 초반에 기숙사로 향할 때 듣고 있었던 곡이기도 하다.
