첫 트랙 Fill in the Blank를 들으면 바로 느낄 수 있는 부분. 물론 Cosmic Hero나 The Ballad of the Costa Concordia처럼 10분 내외의 여러 파트로 이루어진 대곡들도 있으며, 스튜디오 프로듀싱 덕분에 이전의 대곡들보다 더 웅장하고 역동적이기까지 하다.

Joe Gets Kicked Out이나 Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales의 화음들은 페스티벌에서 떼창으로 불리기에 안성맞춤이고, Fill in the Blank는 우직하고 맹렬한 록 트랙으로 카 시트 헤드레스트의 감성적인 청자들조차 몸을 흔들게 할 수 있다.

Nervous Young Man 수록곡 The Gun Song의 화자이기도 하다.
