앨범 내에서 4번째로 싱글컷 되었다.

2. 상세

Love The Way You Lie에 이어 평론가들과 팬들에게 찬사를 받은 곡이며 크게 히트를 치고, 2014년 MTV 비디오 뮤직 어워드에서 수상을 받고, 빌보드 뮤직 어워드에서는 "2014년 최고의 랩" 선정을 받으며, 그래미 어워드에서도 상을 받는 등 크게 성공 하였다.

이 정도의 상을 받은 만큼 빌보드 핫 100에서도 4주 동안 1위를 기록 하는 등 상위권 순위를 유지하며 메가 히트를 쳤다.

자신의 강박장애에 관한 고백도 나온다.

제목에서 나오는 Monster는 다름 아닌 자신의 다른 자아 Slim Shady.
