1. 개요
롤링 스톤스의 1969년 앨범 Let It Bleed의 6번째 트랙이다. 하모니카 소리가 인상적인 느릿하게 전개되다가 점점 분위기가 고조되는 블루스 록 트랙이다. 믹 재거와 키스 리처즈가 이탈리아 포시타노의 카페에서 작곡했다. 가사는 한밤중에 배회하는 살인마를 다루고 있는데, 실제로 1960년대 13명을 목졸라 살해한 연쇄살인마 '보스턴 교살자'(Boston Strangler)에서 따온 내용이다.브라이언 존스의 마지막 참여작 중 하나로서 앨범에 수록된 단 두개의 참여작 중 하나이기도 하다. 여기서는 퍼커션을 담당.
롤링 스톤즈의 곡이 대부분 그렇지만, 스튜디오 버젼보다 라이브 버젼이 훨씬 낫다. 잼에 가깝게 즉흥 연주로 끝도 없이 펼쳐지는 최면적인 하모니가 일품인 곡.
